For valve amplifiers I have introduced a system where I only make a few in one year and advertise them on this website when completed and ready for sale. This of course only applies to amplifiers - pedals are always available to order at any time. Please ring and check availability.

THE AMPS:

The Tempest is available as a 5 or 10 watt combo based on the 50s 5F1 Champ circuit. Features: Knobs - volume , tone. Controls - on/off, standby. Inputs - 1 jack.
Speaker - 10" or 12" Jensen or Celestion.

The California Dreamer is a 50 watt head based on 60s BF Fender amps. Features: Knobs - volume, treble, mid., bass Controls - on/off, standby. Inputs - 1 jack.
Speaker - 4 and 8 ohm jacks.

COMMON SPECIFICATIONS:
Hammond black steel chassis, hand-wired eyelet board, Hammond transformers, solid pine cabinets (combos), birch ply baffles (combos), birch ply cab (head). All chassis are fitted with high quality jacks, pots, switches, pilot lamps and fuse holders. Only the best resistors and capacitors are used.

I have made a few replica Fender Tweed amps (from the 50s) Theses were built to the very highest standards from kit parts available fron the USA. May not be building these any more because of the high costs.
