ABOUT MY PEDALS
You may find this hard to believe but the graphics, colours used etc. are just as important to me as ciruit design and component choice. Most pepople don't realise how much work goes into these rectangular masterpieces.
All boxes are drilled by me in my own workshop. Boxes are then washed, degreased and sprayed with an etch primer. This is done to make sure the enamel paint has maximum adhesion to the aluminium used in the die cast alloy boxes. Boxes are then sprayed with 2 to 3 coats of enamel paint. Graphics and labels are added using the same stencil art process used by graffiti artists such as Banksy. Boxes are now baked in an oven to 'stove' the paint. It takes about a day to paint a box in this way.
